Importance of Organizing as Blue Dots in Red Sea by Michael Moore

“In this podcast series between now and January 6th, I will show you practical strategies that will keep the Republicans off guard and unaware that we are in the process of pulling the literal rug right out from under them in the 2024 election. If you live in a red area — or have family or friends who do — you won’t want to miss this blueprint I’m laying out for us to win and bring an end to most of the right wing madness.”

Disqualify Donald Trump from Holding Public Office, Under the Constitution’s 14th Amendment Petition by MoveOn

Donald Trump and his associates planned, promoted, and paid for a criminal conspiracy that became the January 6 insurrection. According to the U.S. Constitution, that disqualifies him from ever holding office again. We need to stop Trumpism and the MAGA extremism that is hate-fueled and turns to violence when they cannot win by legitimate means. The MAGA agenda is extreme: it favors the ultra wealthy, big corporations, and special interests at the expense of working families and directly threatens fundamental rights and freedoms. MAGA politicians’ plans to raise health care and prescription drug costs, threaten Medicare and Social Security, and allow insurance companies to deny coverage for preexisting conditions are unpopular with a majority of Americans.

Tax the Ultra Wealthy and Corporations.

This fall, as lobbyists descended on the Hill to pressure Congress into passing a set of corporate tax breaks before the year’s end, some progressive activists and lawmakers settled on a strategy to make any potential tax package at least mildly palatable: Tax breaks for businesses must be paired with an extension of the Child Tax Credit enhancements that were enacted in 2021. “It’s good news that big corporations weren’t able to finagle more tax breaks out of this year-end deal,” said Amy Hanauer, Executive Director of the Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy. “But it’s unconscionable that Congress is leaving millions of families in the cold by failing to extend any expansion of the Child Tax Credit.” MAGA Republican opposition to funding the Child Tax Credit prevented its inclusion.

“The post-neoliberal world could move in a neo-authoritarian, elitist, anti-democratic direction. Or it could be a communitarian, multiracial democracy. For the second option prevails, labor must help forge a new order that lifts all working people.”
